The vote counting process in Vanuatu is nearing completion, with all 351 domestic polling stations now fully counted. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the national electoral process, leaving only 22 overseas polling stations yet to be covered. The tally so far represents 94% of the total voting stations, indicating a strong progress towards finalizing the election results.
Judging from the current speed of counting, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission is confident all 379 ballot boxes including those from overseas, will be completed in less than two weeks.
