“Don’t include both cards from 17 A (Red and Green) or 17 B (Red and Green) in the envelope. Make sure that one card is 17 A and the other is 17 B. One colour is from 17 A and the other colour is from 17 B.
“If agree to vote ‘yes’ in both colours then you will have two colour green in the envelope.
“On the other hand is you agree with 17 A but not 17 B then both colours Green and Red will go into the envelope.
TIV’s message to voters is for all eligible to vote. “We want to help electoral Office to achieve 70% of voters to cast their vote,” he said.
“Those voters who do not agree with the referendum, we challenge them to come to vote ‘No’. We all have a duty to vote ‘yes or no’ in the referendum on May 29.
“It is not right to achieve only 50% or 30% in the referendum.”
Mr. Tamara said there are bound to be challenges involving the movement of voters from isolated areas faraway to reach the Polling Stations to vote.
“We need to do a thorough awareness to convince all voters to take part in the referendum. Your participation will be most appreciated,” he said.
Mr. Tamara suggested for current MMPs and Councillors to consider funding the transportation costs of trucks and boats to allow voters to take part in the referendum.
